Killer Cupcakes by Leighann Dobbs – Things are going great for Lexy Baker. She’s finally opened her dream bakery, gotten rid of her cheating boyfriend and settled into her grandmothers house with her perky dog Sprinkles at her side.

The Violin Maker’s Wife by Luc Reid & Maya Lassiter – “The Violin Maker’s Wife” is a historical fantasy novelette, set in 1870s Missouri, and is about forty pages long.

In the Pulps by Rex Stout – “In the Pulps – 26 Short Stories” is a compilation of most of the short stories written by Rex Stout and originally published in the Pulps in the early 20th Century. Although these stories are not all mysteries, they all are suspenseful and very enjoyable. They already show the creative mind that devised later so many complex plots as well as Stout’s gift for creating characters with a few quick strokes.
