She’s the high school softball star. He’s the fraternity chaplain.
He’s the good guy. She’s the wild child.
Eliza Nichols has a secret. After one night, one mistake, she throws away her softball career, walking away from everything she loves. Broken and damaged, the last thing she needs is someone making her question everything she knows.
No one has ever made her want to be so good.
Declan White is the stereotypical nice guy. When his fraternity brother betrays him with the girl of his dreams, he struggles to be the man he wants to be without losing the man he is. Eliza may be exactly what he needs.
No one has ever made him want to be so bad.
When these two come together, their lives collide in a battle of wills. One moment can change the rest of your life. You can accept it… or you may find hope where there appears to be nothing at all.
*I received this book from the publisher in exchange for a fair and honest review*
It’s no secret that Sydney Lane is one of my favorite authors. She is on my list of authors that I would buy sight unseen, so what better way to start out our Romance month then with her newest book in the Choices series. And the best part is Declan finally gets what he deserves.
Declan is the nice guy. The chaplain who was caught in the middle of the love triangle Quincy had with him and Brody and obviously we know how that ended. So when he sees Liza he thinks. I can be bad for once. Know if you know Declan you know it’s just not in him. He cares more then most and wants to help everyone.
Liza is a girl who has been threw a lot in her life and may have not gone down the best path. She sleeps with a lot of guys and never twice. So when she meets Declan she knows he is to good for her. But he makes her face the consequences of her choices and brings out the best in her.
Together they are an awesome pair and like in Choices and Fate I was pulled in by the story. Sydney Lane has a way of grabbing hold of you and making you feel every emotion the characters do. I can’t wait to see what happens next with Seth’s story.
